A legal disclaimer
The Renewal Lab provides integrative health and wellness coaching, movement-based sessions, and holistic support. All services are for educational and wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Andrea Asleson is not acting as a licensed medical provider, mental health professional, or nutritionist. Always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns or before beginning a new wellness practice. Results vary by individual and are not guaranteed. By booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Terms & Conditions
Formal Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled coaching session. Notice must be given through the same platform used to schedule the appointment (e.g., Calendly) or by direct written communication (email or text).
Payment Requirements
Payment for all coaching sessions is required at the time of booking. A session is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.
Refunds for Cancellations
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session time are eligible for a full refund or may be credited toward a future session, based on client preference.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time will be classified as a late cancellation and are not eligible for a refund.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice (“no show”) will result in the full session fee being retained, with no refund or rescheduling option provided.
Insurance Policy
At this time, The Renewal Lab does not accept insurance for coaching services.
The State of Minnesota is currently evaluating coverage for Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching, and The Renewal Lab will update clients if insurance reimbursement becomes available in the future.
Client Responsibility
By scheduling a session, clients acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Cancellation and Payment Policy. It is the client’s responsibility to be aware of their scheduled appointment times and provide timely notice of any changes.

Welcome to The Renewal Lab. By booking a session, participating in a class, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies ensure clarity, safety, and a supportive wellness experience for every client.
1. Scope of Services
The Renewal Lab provides movement-based wellness sessions, integrative health & wellness coaching, nutritional support, and holistic energy practices.
These services are:

Educational in nature

Designed to support lifestyle, mindset, and behavior change

Intended to enhance overall well-being
These services do NOT diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or mental health condition.
Andrea Asleson is a trained integrative health & wellness coach and movement practitioner, not a licensed medical provider, mental health professional, or dietitian.
Clients must maintain relationships with appropriate medical professionals for all health-related concerns.
2. Client Responsibilities
By participating, you agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your health, goals, and limitations

Participate at your own pace and listen to your body

Consult with your physician regarding any medical questions or before beginning new wellness practices

Communicate openly about discomfort, concerns, or changes during sessions
You acknowledge that your progress depends on your own effort, commitment, and follow-through.
3. Informed Consent
Your participation in any session or service is voluntary. You understand that:

Movement-based practices involve physical sensations and mild exertion

Coaching involves exploration of thoughts, emotions, habits, and goals

Energy or mindfulness practices may evoke emotional release
-
You may stop or modify any activity at any time
You agree to take personal responsibility for your safety and participation.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Accepted forms of payment: credit/debit card, online processing, or methods listed on our booking platform.
Refunds follow the Cancellation Policy below.
Insurance is not accepted at this time. The state of Minnesota is in the process of exploring insurance coverage for Integrative Health & Wellness Coaching, and updates will be shared as available.
5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellations with 24+ hours’ notice: Refund or session transfer

Cancellations within 24 hours: Full session fee is charged

No-shows: Full session fee is charged
If you arrive late, your session will end at the scheduled time out of respect for other clients.
True emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. Rescheduling Policy
Sessions may be rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance at no cost.
Rescheduling within 24 hours is treated as a late cancellation.
7. Liability Waiver
By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:

You assume all risks associated with physical movement, coaching, mindfulness, and wellness activities

You are responsible for your own physical condition, limitations, and safety

The Renewal Lab and Andrea Asleson are not liable for injuries, emotional responses, or outcomes related to participation in sessions, classes, workshops, or use of information provided
You release The Renewal Lab from any claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.
8. No Guarantees
Every client’s path is unique.
While many experience meaningful transformation, individual results vary and are not guaranteed. The Renewal Lab supports your efforts but cannot make promises regarding specific outcomes.
9. Confidentiality & Privacy
All client information is kept confidential and used solely to support your wellness journey.
Information may only be disclosed:

As required by law (e.g., risk of harm)

As necessary to maintain practice safety or compliance
We do not sell or share personal information for marketing purposes.
10. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on The Renewal Lab website, including text, graphics, images, logos, and materials, is protected by copyright.
You may not:

Copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce content without permission

Use website materials for commercial purposes

Misuse booking tools or website features
11. Testimonials Notice
Testimonials reflect personal experiences and are not guarantees of similar results. They are provided voluntarily by real clients and may have been lightly edited for clarity.
12. Changes to Terms
The Renewal Lab reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services or the website indicates acceptance of updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
